The pretty heart you can stitch can be in any color…if it were me, I would have reversed the heart and background colors on this chart!  the heart is made of Giant Alternating Scotch stitches and the background is a variety of stitches in squares.   The designer used 7 colors of Watercolors and 8 of DMC #5 Perle Cotton.  Stitch count is 126 x 126 on 18 ct so the finished size is 7″ square.
