THE WORLD’S BEST NEEDLEPOINT CUSTOMER GARAGE SALE RETURNS TO HOMESTEAD NEEDLE ARTS, SATURDAY JULY 23, 2022.

This is the time that YOU can sell your own items and shop for needlepoint treasures.  There is no fee to attend but  there is a seller fee for the first 25 items.   REMEMBER, CASH OR CHECKS ARE THE PREFERRED METHOD OF PAYMENT FOR THE GARAGE SALE ITEMS.  Anybody wanting to use a charge card for garage sale items will have to pay an additional charge fee of 4%.

RULES  – READ TO PARTICIPATE IN SELLING.

1. SELLER FEE:
There is a NON-REFUNDABLE $1 PER ITEM SELLER FEE WITH A MAXIMUM FEE OF $25.  The fee will be paid when you drop your items off.  You will need to pay this fee by cash or check.  KEEP THIS IN MIND WHEN PRICING YOUR ITEM.

2. WHAT YOU CAN PUT IN THE GARAGE SALE:
Your items must be needlepoint related. That means canvas of any type or size, threads of any type, books, and stitching tools of any type or size.  Canvases you have started or finished are acceptable! NO MAGAZINES, NO CROSS STITCH, NO KNITTING etc.

3. MAKE A LIST OF YOUR ITEMS:
Using a piece of 8-1/2 x 11″ paper put your NAME, DAYTIME PHONE NUMBER AND YOUR THREE INITIALS AT THE TOP.  Number it down the left hand side using the same numbers as your pieces. 001, 002, etc. Give me a SHORT description of each piece for example: 001 Bird canvas, 002 needlepoint book, 003 flower canvas AND THE PRICE! If your price is not legible on the tag I can refer to your list. (It’s okay to choose a different set of initials if you prefer total anonymity.)

4. TAG EACH ITEM AS FOLLOWS:
Your items must be marked with your price wanted and your 3 initials clearly on a tag that we can all find. Use tags that will stay on or with your item.  Stapling them to the item is BEST.  DO NOT PUT YOUR CANVASES IN PLASTIC. THEY SELL BETTER IF THEY ARE NOT IN PLASTIC BAGS.

5. WHAT ITEMS REQUIRE PACKAGING:
It’s best to put small items and threads in a clear plastic zip lock bag.  IF THEY GO WITH A CANVAS, STAPLE THE BAG TO THE CANVAS!

6. DROP OFF DATES:
Drop off of items BEGINS SATURDAY, JULY 16 and ends at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, July 22. Have a friend drop off for you if you can’t stop by. NOTE THAT I AM ONLY OPEN TUESDAY, WEDNESDAY, FRIDAY AND SATURDAY.
7.  NO ONE-ON-ONE SELLING TO OTHER CUSTOMERS.

8. SHOPPING DATES:
Come back and shop for yourself ON SATURDAY JULY 23 FROM 10:00 A.M. TO 4:00 P.M.  There is no fee to enter and shop. BRING CASH OR CHECKS TO PAY FOR GARAGE SALE ITEMS or pay an additional 4% credit card fee.

9. PICK UP DATES:
Come back and pick up your unsold items and learn the amount of your shop credit from TUESDAY, JULY 25 THROUGH SATURDAY, JULY 30.  NO early pickups!   Any items not picked up by the deadline of July 27 at 4:00 p.m. becomes the property of Homestead Needle Arts and will be disposed of in any manner I see fit.

10. PLEASE USE YOUR SHOP CREDIT:
Use your shop credit by 12/15/22.  Shop credit is good on merchandise ONLY including special orders.
