JULY NEWS AND TRUNK SHOW!
Hello again!
I hope you all had a relaxing July 4 vacation. While you were out and about, the Ditto! Needle Point Works Trunk Show arrived at Homestead Needle Arts. I have hung up the larger pieces and have quite a few small ones that you can purchase too. You’ll notice that these items look a lot like a former artist (no name mentioned) and that’s because it’s the original designer. I have always loved the circular roses and hope you do too! So easy to do by ruching Petite Frosty Rays or Flair. There are lots of pumpkins, flowers, snowmen, houses, funky birds and Christmas is in this trunk show – something for everybody! New Canvases
New canvases are arriving from both the March Market and the Virtual Market held two weeks ago! There’s always something new at Homestead Needle Arts! Check my website for the latest additions. Check out some of the latest from JP Needlepoint (one shown above), Melissa Prince and more.

Kathy Rees of Needle Delights Originals has had a busy year. Along with getting married, she’s added five new charts to be available July 15. Want to order one or more? Just email or call me. The top two are Christmas Rounds (specify red or aqua) chart price is $12.50, Iris,$10.50, Rainbow Inchies $30.50 and Wedding $15.50.
Wreath of Leaves Project Continues
Our next stitch-a-long for the Needlepoint Now Wreath of Leaves will be held Tuesday, July 18 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Come and join like-minded leaf stitchers! I’ve fallen behind but no matter! I’ll be here with bells on…or should I say leaves? I have about 20 of them stitched and maybe 15 finished completely. How are you doing on this project?
Classes Continue Through Summer
Classes are still being held during the summer months on Wednesdays from 2-3:30 p.m. Come once if you need a bit of help or sign up for a month at a time! PLEASE NOTE, YOU MUST SIGN UP IN ADVANCE! Classes are limited so visit to book and pay in advance or call me, 810-694-3040.
Halloween and Christmas Finishing Deadline
Our finishing deadline with finishing guaranteed before Christmas is August 12. KEEP IN MIND that if you mail your finishing it must be here before that date. My finisher is currently running about 2-1/2 to 3 months out so all Halloween items you want before Halloween should be dropped off ASAP.
I’m sure I’ll hit send and remember something I forgot to tell you but for now, that’s it! I hope you drink a lot of iced tea (or Long Island Iced Tea if that’s more your style), stay cool and STITCH THIS SUMMER!
