Restocked Books
I’ve just gotten more Sandy’s Finishing Touches books. For those of us doing the Needlepoint Now Wreath of Leaves, we’ve discovered that finishing doesn’t have to be as hard as it looks! Sandy’s book can help make a finisher out of you. It’s on my website here.
Also I ordered more of Carolyn Hedge Baird’s books including Stitchspirations, Needlepointing in Your Nest and A Field Guide to Birds, shown above. Just use the search term Carolyn on my website and her books will pop up.

Variegated Valdani Pearl Cotton #5
I’ve purchased a number of variegated perle cotton #5 colors by Valdani to see if there’s interest in my shop carrying this line. The perle cotton is on balls as shown above and is about 46 yards for $7. At this time, I don’t have them on my website. Just call or email me if you see some you’re interested in and let me know via email if this is something you want me to carry.
Join the Homestead Needle Arts SNOWMAN CLUB
In good news, I finished the fourth Santa in Homestead’s Santa Club and have begun stitching the snowmen for the Homestead Snowman Club! If you haven’t already expressed an interest in the Snowman Club, NOW is the time.
The snowmen are by Renaissance Designs and four of them are about 3-1/2 x 4″ with two being a little bigger. The current Club canvas price for each is $62.50 including stitch guides written by Homestead Needle Arts! You must be signed up for the entire Club to receive this special pricing. They can be finished as ornaments or stand-ups. Thread kits can be ordered too. Prices will be available for thread kits at a later date.
