Guess what?  Next week is July 4th, can you believe it?  So I have some announcements to make.

First, I will be closed on Thursday, July 4 but hey!  I’m closed on Thursdays anyway so you won’t even notice!  I WILL be open as usual Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday!

STITCH IN SATURDAY JULY 6

Next, I will host a stitch in on Saturday, July 6 from 10-4.  PLEASE EMAIL ME with your intent to come by noon on Friday, July 5.  Also email me your phone number in case I have to cancel at the last minute due to family issues.  There are limited seats so don’t delay!  I’m looking forward to a full day of stitching with you.

JULY CANVAS SALES – READ ON FOR DETAILS

While we wait for the AMAZING CUSTOMER GARAGE SALE on July 27, I thought that having a few sales would be fun since I don’t have a trunk show scheduled for this month.

HALLOWEEN/AUTUMN IN JULY SALE – July 2 through July 9

All in stock canvases with a Halloween or Autumn related theme will be 20% off from July 2 through July 9.  That’s only one week!  So come on in and stock up with some spooky, scary, fun canvases.

 

CHRISTMAS IN JULY SALE – July 9 through July 20

ALL IN STOCK CHRISTMAS CANVASES ARE 20% OFF.  Sale starts Tuesday, July 9 and runs through Saturday, July 20.  That gives you nearly two weeks to come in – feel free to come in more than once!  All in stock Christmas themed canvases will be 20% off.

 

FLOWERS IN JULY SALE – July 20 through July 31

By now, our gardens may be gasping for water, but a floral needlepoint canvas blooms forever!  All floral themed canvases in stock will be 20% off from Saturday, July 20 through Wednesday, July 31.

New Items

I “attended” the Virtual Needlepoint Market this past weekend and the canvases are starting to come in with Princess and Me leading the way like the one above.   They’ll be added to the website as soon as possible and why not check out the new magnets I added this week too?

GARAGE SALE REMINDER

Need a Garage Sale Rule Reminder?  Here’s a repeat of all the rules and fun details.  Put July 27 on your calendar to come and save BIG.

 

THE WORLD’S BEST NEEDLEPOINT CUSTOMER GARAGE SALE RETURNS TO HOMESTEAD NEEDLE ARTS, SATURDAY JULY 27, 2024.

This is the time that YOU can sell your own items and shop for needlepoint treasures at low prices.  There is no fee to attend but  there is a seller fee for the first 25 items.   REMEMBER, CASH OR CHECKS ARE THE PREFERRED METHOD OF PAYMENT FOR THE GARAGE SALE ITEMS.  Anybody wanting to use a charge card for garage sale items will have to pay an additional charge fee of 4%.  Any items sold on your behalf will earn you merchandise credit at Homestead Needle Arts for the same dollar amount as your credit!

RULES  – READ TO PARTICIPATE IN SELLING.

1. SELLER FEE:
There is a NON-REFUNDABLE $1 PER ITEM SELLER FEE WITH A MAXIMUM FEE OF $25.  The fee will be paid when you drop your items off.  You will need to pay this fee by cash or check.  KEEP THIS IN MIND WHEN PRICING YOUR ITEM AND BE SURE IT’S MORE THAN $1.

2. WHAT YOU CAN PUT IN THE GARAGE SALE:
Your items must be needlepoint related. That means canvas of any type or size, threads of any type, books, and stitching tools of any type or size.  Canvases you have started or finished are acceptable! NO MAGAZINES, NO CROSS STITCH, NO KNITTING etc.

3. MAKE A LIST OF YOUR ITEMS:
Using a piece of 8-1/2 x 11″ paper put your NAME, DAYTIME PHONE NUMBER AND YOUR THREE INITIALS AT THE TOP.  Number it down the left hand side using the same numbers as your pieces. 001, 002, etc. Give me a SHORT description of each piece for example: 001 Bird canvas, 002 needlepoint book, 003 flower canvas AND THE PRICE! If your price is not legible on the tag I can refer to your list. (It’s okay to choose a different set of initials if you prefer total anonymity.)

4. TAG EACH ITEM AS FOLLOWS:
Your items must be marked with your price wanted and your 3 initials clearly on a tag that we can all find. Use tags that will stay on or with your item.  Stapling them to the item is BEST.  DO NOT PUT YOUR CANVASES IN PLASTIC. THEY SELL BETTER IF THEY ARE NOT IN PLASTIC BAGS.  You may put your threads in plastic bags.

5. WHAT ITEMS REQUIRE PACKAGING:
It’s best to put small items and threads in a clear plastic zip lock bag.  IF THEY GO WITH A CANVAS, STAPLE THE BAG TO THE BACK OF THE CANVAS so they don’t get separated!

6. DROP OFF DATES:
Drop off of items BEGINS SATURDAY, JULY 20 and ends at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, July 26. Have a friend drop off for you if you can’t stop by. NOTE THAT I AM ONLY OPEN TUESDAY, WEDNESDAY, FRIDAY AND SATURDAY.

7.  ABSOLUTELY NO ONE-ON-ONE SELLING TO OTHER CUSTOMERS.  ABSOLUTELY NO COPIES OF CHARTS OR OTHER COPYRIGHT ITEMS WILL BE ACCEPTED FOR SALE.  If I think it’s a copy, it is.

8. SHOPPING DATES:
Come back and shop for yourself ON SATURDAY JULY 27 FROM 10:00 A.M. TO 4:00 P.M.  There is no fee to enter and shop. BRING CASH OR CHECKS TO PAY FOR GARAGE SALE ITEMS or pay an additional 4% credit card fee.

9. PICK UP DATES:
Come back and pick up your unsold items and learn the amount of your shop credit from TUESDAY, JULY 29 THROUGH SATURDAY, AUGUST 3.  NO early pickups!   Any items not picked up by the deadline of August 3 at 4:00 p.m. becomes the property of Homestead Needle Arts.

10. PLEASE USE YOUR SHOP CREDIT IN A TIMELY MANNER.
Use your shop credit by 12/14/24.  Shop credit is good on merchandise ONLY including special orders.  All unused credit expires 12/14/24.
