Hello! It’s supposed to be another “warm winter” day here in Michigan with temps in the 40’s. I don’t mind the weather but I still mind the mud! I really hope this is not how our winters will continue as I do love a good snowfall.
Anyway! The Maggie Trunk Show continues to make us smile and even laugh with some of the crazy canvases. Some of the comments from customers have been “These are all so fun!” “So colorful.” “I have to decide on just one?”  The one above shows what you can do with a canvas…this is a sample framed piece Maggie sent. If you come in, check out the wonderful fur collar and the stitching on the coat itself. Amazing!
And now some more canvases so you get an idea if you didn’t have time to go through the videos. Also if you want to choose something from Maggie’s website, you’ll still get the 20% off deal.

Customer Showcase Update
I received twenty-two submissions for the Customer Showcase and they include a small, purses, stockings, framed pieces and pillows. What fun! A customer suggested posting them for all to enjoy so here you go! Let me know which your favorite is! Many of these have a great story behind them but there’s just not enough space in the newsletter. Marla A. won the drawing for bringing in a piece and got a wonderful canvas donated by Rebecca Wood Designs shown above. Marla is thrilled! Thank you to EVERYBODY who brought in their pieces as this Showcase is a success.
New Canvases
Yes, I’ve also posted new canvases on the Homestead Needle Arts website and I actually have new magnets that have not been posted yet. If you come in, ask to see them. They’re adorable and the price is so right at just $12.50. They make great gifts too!
Twenty Year Anniversary Party, Saturday, February 17, 10-4
Next Saturday is the 20 year Anniversary Party.  Some of the prizes include canvases donated by JP Needlepoint, Eye Candy, Princess and Me, CBK Collections, Danji Designs, Melissa Shirley Designs, Sundance Designs, a bag by Lee Needle Arts from Colonial Needle, and more!  My sister Chris sent some pretty funny personalized M&M’s that will be out for you next Saturday.  The goodie bags will be a surprise for each of you (supplies are limited).  Those items were donated by Homestead Needle Arts, Colonial Needle, Rainbow Gallery, Meredith Collection, ThreadworX, Sundance Designs, Vineyard Silk, and Planet Earth Fibers! A huge THANK YOU to all the donors for their extreme generosity in helping me celebrate!
Here’s a sneak peek of one canvas…and so timely!
Okay, that’s enough pictures for this newsletter! Have a great week and see you soon. Stitch faster!
