New Straw Silk Color Palettes
The new luscious colors shown above include reds – Passion Palette with Rocket Red, Razzleberry, Hubba Hubba, Lady Bug and Sailor’s Delight. Thunderstorms includes Shadowlands, a new grey, the middle is new and will be called Driftwood, then Mercury Glass and Polar Bear. The Blue-Purple Hydrangeas includes two new blue purples, a silvery periwinkle, Eggplant and Lavender Rose. There are 5 colors on each card, 6 yards each for a total of 30 yards, $22. Stitch Every Day in May!
This is an idea I borrowed from the knit folks. Why not challenge yourself to stitch every day in May? Even if you just put one row in or one stitch, you’ll be that much closer to finishing your piece. Get out your calendar and mark it with a check for every day you got a little stitching time in. Remember, stitching is good for relaxation, creativity and to keep your brain active. The above piece is a NON-RETIRED Painted Pony canvas. Think of all the possibilities for stitches on this canvas.
